What Mr. McKinney fails to realize here is that Xbox did not create this motion controller. It was PDP, which is a 3rd party accessories maker. So now, what do you have to say about Kinect? Is that original enough for you? And the PS3 Move? That is a 1st party Wii knockoff – so Sony is fully responsible, not a 3rd party accessory maker like PDP.

I will agree that Xbox is unoriginal, but its a good strategy to increase sales. I don’t mind that they take ideas from other video game companies. It’s just evolution of the gaming industry.

I just want to throw this in… look at what XBox did with their addition of the avatars. Yet another example of an unoriginal idea. And if you look at their interface, it looks A LOT like a vertical version of the PS3 interface. Oh XBox…
